I love other locations in the RGV but this one has numerous pricing issues (charges $0.70-1.00 over posted prices) and the staff and manager refuse to honor posted prices. After talking to regional manager, they fixed one price point but then a few weeks later, they had another issue with another price point and they staff still did not want to honor the posted price.

Never been to a tropical smoothie before and don't think I'll every try another one. We paid over $13 for two smoothies and two cookies. After we say down and began to eat our cookies we realized they were expired. They didn't taste bad and all the ones they had were expired so we just ate them and thought it was whatever. We ordered two jetty punches and they were complete trash. They literally made it with 5 or 6 strawberries and a banana ice and lots of water. It just tasted like a water smoothie with a subtle hint of strawberry. If your going to make the smoothie with water you have to add sugar to something to sweeten it up. Maybe we just got the wrong smoothie. At the very least just don't try the jetty punch.

Drinks are very tasty and I love the texture from how much ice they put! Can't go wrong with any of their smoothies

Well, I suppose I should do at least 15 reviews. I stop here all the time and get a very good smoothie at a fair price. I can recommend quality and this place meets my standard. Thank you.

Smoothies were great and the staff was helpful

Been here quite a few times. They seem to be making the smoothies faster now which is great. They do seem to have issues if you don't order a smoothie that is already on the menu. We asked if they could make a chocolate protein shake and they just said "no". We asked what they could do similar and it seemed like a struggle to get any information from them so we just didn't order one. When my husband got his shake it was so full it was leaking all over. Instead of fixing it themselves we had to ask for napkins and they watched us fix it at the counter.

Fresh food, great smoothies, and you can order online! Probably the fastest online order-and-pick up system on the island! Quick to-go and probably the best vegetarian options on the island, it doesn't disappoint.

We were excited to see a tropical smoothie in SPI. Great service, very friendly! Place was clean and food and smoothie both tasted amazing!

Kudos to your staff and manager. I just went to pick up an order and they were enforcing the use of masks as directed by the county this week. The manager was cool and calm when the customer was refusing to wear a mask. She gave her options such as curbside pick up and car delivery. Well done!

The employee was really nice. He was very polite and even came out and gave us the smoothies where we were sitting at. The smoothies: were AMAZING. Just expect it to be above sweet but man all the drinks that my family ordered were great. And the cup size is big and definitely worth $5

During this Pandemic, almost all of the restaurants are not offering dine in, more can you use the restaurant. We asked tknuse the restroom, and we could not use it. And we needed to, but I get it, employees must be protected and we as customers must be empathetic. Tropical Smoothies was delish!!! I ordered the Pomegranate Energiser and my wife ordered the Mean Machine. They were out of Energizer so they substituted B12. I was energized. We also ordered the Chicken Pesto Flat Bread. It came with esther a side of chips or fruit. We got the Sea Salt Chips. The flat bread was very tasty, fresh and light. Chicken was cooked to perfection with the appropriate seasoning. All in all, good experience. I would recommend to visit and try their smoothies as refreshers while on the beach at SPI.

This place is pleasant and quiet. The personnel is attentive and friendly. The selection is really good and tasty. I think places like this one brings a refreshing and unique look to South Padre Island. If you are in town dont forget to visit this establishment and enjoy there healthy and nutritious smoothies and try the sandwiches, I recommend the Cuban one, is to die for.

Incredible friendly staff, clean sitting area and bathrooms. Food was dynamite as always. Lots of smiles from staff and you could feel their desire to do great. Best Tropical Smoothie experience we've had...and we've had a lot. :) Keep doing what you are doing and you'll do amazing!

Not so great. Although they use fresh fruit they also add in a powder flavors, and mix the smoothies with water. My smoothie included coconut and the coconut was a powder. It wasn’t shaved or chunks of coconut. Lastly when you respond to customers personal review, you should refrain from using the exclamation mark, as everyone know this comes of as bad netiquette.

They have all kinds of smoothies with actual ingredients, not flavors of the fruits. Then if you wish they have different proteins, vitamins, etc. . They also serve healthy sandwiches. We are trying different smoothies every time we go and trying each others. So yummy!

I always love going to this place because the smoothies are great and so is the staff. You can also add a number of things to your smoothies if you want such as extra protein, chia, or fat burner. The inside of this place is very colorful, clean, and comfortable.

Needing something fresh, healthy, and rejuvenating after all the bad food and alcohol you have had then this is the place! Really large smoothies for $5! I got the detox smoothie and my husband got the açaí smoothie and both very good.

Amazing menu selections!! SO very happy to find a place at SPI where my daughter could also eat, since she has severe gluten and dairy intolerances!! Staff was very helpful and willing to modify our menu selection to meet our needs!! Will definitely be returning to this cafe EVERY time we're in the Valley!!!

My favorite smoothie place. I am allergic to strawberries which really limits my selection in most smoothie establishments. Not here. Excellent server offered to substitute blueberrys on any of their selections. Healthy and tasty. Can't beat that. Highly recommended.

Excellent service when you walked in the door. Greeting us right a way. Food and smoothies were outstanding. Very flavorful. Although, workers seem to like the back of the room instead of being hands on with the customers nor staying busy for the company.

Honestly a great place to get last minute breakfast. I recommend the kale, spinach, mango, banana, and pineapple smoothie.

Smoothies aren't as delicious as sister locations. Weak flavoring, but clean facility.

I come here on my lunch break a lot and I love it. The food is always good and the employees are very friendly. However, my only complaint is that when I order online, I arrive at the time my food is supposed to be ready only to find that they have JUST started making it. This is especially frustrating when it's on my lunch break and I get to spend half of it waiting for food instead of relaxing. The other day one of the employees stopped in the middle of making my food (when all he needed to do was blend it and pour it into a cup) to take someone's order (and mind you, again, I had ordered online, arrived when my food was supposed to be ready, and they started making it AFTER I got there) and then he proceeded to prep their food instead of finishing mine so I could leave.

Amazing food and amazing smoothies I had the chicken pesto flatbread the Chicken was so tender and the taste was wow.And I had the Bahama mama there is no words to describe the taste And we were shocked for how much our order was We get a wrap, flatbread, and 3 smoothies for 25$

Delicious! We each had a different sandwhich on different bread and they were all wonderful. Cuban, Tropical Chicken Salad and Chipotle Chicken. Apple Kale slaw was awesome too. Great price too and I would be back in a heartbeat, good find!

Ordered on the phone for a party of 4, the young lady on the phone was friendly and efficient, entire order was correct and ready for pick up on time. Everyone enjoyed the quesadillas and sandwiches ordered as well as the smoothies. We all agreed we would definitely go back in the future.

Great way to refresh after a beach walk

Place was brand new and very clean. Smoothies we're awesome and only $5. Love how the cups that they give you are insulated so you can walk around with it for a while without your hand getting cold.
